Seven years after the referendum, we want you to know that the MWCC is still here and still working to ensure our hunting, fishing and trapping traditions remain. We have seen hunting numbers explode and more people are going outside and buying licenses than ever before. We want to continue to encourage these folks and ensure that the activities that they are enjoying remain for years to come.
Like other nonprofits, we have to be creative in the ways in which we raise funds and this year is no different. From now until our early December 2021 board meeting, every $50 you donate will enter you into a drawing for the adventure of your choice for the 2022 season:
- One day striper fishing with Maine Outdoors and Don Kleiner (Union, Maine)
- Pheasant hunt at Silverton Sporting Ranch. with Denise Murchison (Canaan, Maine)
- Bear hunt at North Country Lodge with Bert Goodman (Patten, Maine)
- Run a trapline with Jason Vance, VP of the Maine Trappers Association (Southern Maine)
All donations over $250 to the Maine Wildlife Conservation Council will get a baseball hat with our logo on it as a thank you for helping us continue to fight and be ready.
We know that when guides, outdoor organizations and outfitters are financially strong, the MWCC is strong.
We thank you for your ongoing support and have fun enjoying the Maine outdoors.
